About Me

 Hey,

   So my name is Mia and I’m a teenager and living in London and I’m 5,7 and a half (ish) (around 172cm).

   My goal is not to lose loads of weight. I’m not overweight and I know that but I’m not really happy with the way I look, and while I know that lots of young girls my age -or any age- aren’t happy with the way they look, I just want to change that. Because I now know that calling myself fat won’t make me any thinner. I don’t ever really remember being happy with my figure and I was quite chubby when I was younger. From when I was 10 years old I have always weighed over 60kg (132.3 pounds) and at my most I weighed about 65kg (143.3 pounds). Because I have always been tall-ish I didn’t look very fat, but I was not very flexible and ate very unhealthily. I ate a lot of starchy foods and cakes, sweets, chocolate, etc. 

 So I made a resolution this year to lose some weight and just be healthier and fitter. My goal weight for the 20th of May (my Birthday) is to weigh 55kg (121.3 pounds) which is still within a healthy range. 

  At first I lost some weight in an unhealthy way. I limited my daily calorie intake and tried some very dangerous diets but then, on Tumblr, I came across some ‘Fitspo’ blogs. I had only ever followed thinspo blogs but Fitspo blogs seemed better, especially in the long run. Now, I am trying to lose weight in a much more healthy way, by eating healthier foods and doing more exercise. 

  Thank you if you actually managed to read all of that and I just hope you kind of get to know me a bit more after this. Feel free to ask me anything, or even just talking to me and telling me about yourself. xx

p.s. I have a little obsession going on with all things related to Victoria’s Secret.

I didn’t reach my goal weight but my priorities have changed and I’m not so fussed now by the number on the scale, I just want to be more toned now because I’m quite happy being the size I am at the moment. I maintain about 58 kg and am a slim size 8 -could possibly squeeze into a 6 for some things- :) (these are UK sizes so US 6 and European 36 I think)
